The InnoMat Poster Challenge 2024 is an exciting competition primarily focused on students pursuing a B.Sc. or B.Sc. (Honours) in Physics, Chemistry, or any related discipline from a reputed university/college in Kerala. The competition is designed to showcase innovative and informative ideas specifically related to materials science. Each team, consisting of two students, is invited to explore novel concepts, review existing research, or present application-oriented ideas that connect materials science to real-world problems. The competition is part of the International Conference on Innovative Materials (ICIM-2024), organized by the Department of Physics, St. Stephen’s College.

The design should strike a balance between text, images, and diagrams, making the poster both informative and visually appealing. Judging will be based on several criteria, including the innovation and creativity of the idea, scientific rigor, clarity and organization of the poster, visual appeal, and the team’s presentation skills. The relevance of the topic to the field of materials science will also be considered.

The InnoMat Poster Challenge 2024 will be held at the Educational Theatre of St. Stephen’s College, Uzhavoor, on November 21st, the first day of the conference. Participants must register using the form available on the conference website. The winning team will receive a cash prize of ₹5000, while the second-place team will be awarded ₹2000. Additionally, all participants will receive certificates.
